To combat increased competition, TVS Motors’ performance range of scooters will soon gain a new member.

In the coming days, TVS will launch a new variant of the NTorq 125 scooter. It has now arrived at the dealer showroom under the name NTorq XT. It will most likely be based on the Race Edition or Race XP variants of the 125cc scooter and will include a number of features and cosmetic upgrades.

TVS keeps all of its two-wheelers up to date and ready to face new challenges by upgrading them on a regular basis. The NTorq Race XP is India’s most powerful 125cc scooter, with other models including Standard, Super Squad Edition, and Race Edition, as well as an XT variant on the way.

After starting the scooter and pairing a smartphone via Bluetooth, the rider can use voice commands to perform various tasks on the Ntorq Race XP. This includes navigating to a specific location, changing riding modes, and adjusting the instrument cluster’s display brightness. The new TVS Ntorq XT comes with these features.

As seen on some NTorq variants, LED DRLs will be standard. Other standard features, such as front disc brakes, engine kill switches, and USB chargers, will be available on the new scooter as well.

Ntorq XT – New Colors and Specifications

The new NTorq XT comes in a new dual tone shade that looks like a combination of black and fluorescent yellow, as seen in leaked images from a TVS dealer showroom. The letters XT have been highlighted in blue on both the instrument console and the side.

The 125cc single-cylinder engine in the NTorq produces 9.25 bhp at 7000 rpm and 10.25 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine on the Ntorq Race XP is tuned differently, producing 10.2 horsepower. This makes it the country’s most powerful 125cc scooter. The new Ntorq XT will almost certainly get the same, more powerful motor as the Ntorq XP.

The TVS NTorq XT is expected to be a high-end model that sits at the top of the line. The NTorq range currently starts at just over Rs 77,106 ex-showroom for the drum brake version, and tops out at Rs 89,211 ex-Delhi for the Race XP. Race Edition, priced at Rs 85,161, is slightly less expensive. Suzuki Avenis, Honda Grazia 125, and Aprilia SR 125 will be competitors.
