NEET-PG 2021 counselling to begin on January 12

Following the ruling of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, MCC will begin NEET-PG 2021 counselling on January 12, 2022, as promised by the Ministry of Health to resident doctors, Mandaviya added.
On Sunday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that NEET-PG 2021 counselling will commence on January 12.

“MCC will begin NEET-PG counselling on January 12, 2022, in accordance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s ruling, as pledged by the Ministry of Health to resident doctors,” Mandaviya tweeted.

“This will give the country more power in the fight against Corona,” the tweet continued. All of the candidates have my best wishes.


On September 28, 2021, the National Board of Medical Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the NEET PG 2021 results. The counselling process was intended to start in October 2021, however it was postponed due to the Supreme Court’s stay.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate and Postgraduate (NEET-UG and PG) admissions 2021 were finally decided by the Supreme Court of India on January 7, 2022. The Supreme Court affirmed the OBC quota of 27% and the economically weaker sections (EWS) quota of 10% for 2021-22.
