My father would have Loved to see “Shamshera,” Says Ranbir Kapoor

With the action comedy “Shamshera,” Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen portraying a larger-than-life classic hero for the first time in his career. Ranbir believes his father, the famous Rishi Kapoor, would have liked to see him in and as Shamshera.

Ranbir is returning to the big screen four years after he delivered the smash hit “Sanju.” Ranbir is upset that his father couldn’t watch this front-footed retribution spectacular because Rishi Kapoor always wanted his son to try playing a hero who could relate to people all throughout the country.

I sincerely wish my father was still alive to see this movie, says Ranbir. He has always been brutally honest in his critique, whether he loved or didn’t like something, particularly in regards to my work. So, it’s unfortunate that he won’t get to witness it. But I’m incredibly happy that I got to work on this movie, and I sincerely hope that he is watching out for me and proud of me from above.

In “Shamshera,” according to Ranbir, he attempts to address a pan-Indian audience. I definitely want to develop as an actor and a celebrity, and ‘Shamshera’ is undoubtedly a step in the right direction,’ he declares. You want to create movies with a wider audience. You want to present tales that appeal to audiences of all ages and allow them to be amused.
