Motorola has been on a roll, releasing smartphones at a rate of about one per week. The Moto G82 was released in Europe a few weeks ago, and the company is currently preparing to offer the device in India.
Most European retailers charged 329.99 Euros for the smartphone. In India, this equates to around Rs 26,500. However, because Motorola has a far larger market in India and plans to grow rapidly there, the smartphone will be priced competitively and lower than what it costs in Europe.
We take a look at the features and hardware that will be included with the smartphone when it is released in India.
The Indian launch date and price
Motorola is expected to release the G82 5G on June 7th or 9th, according to some trustworthy leaksters. The device will cost less than Rs 25,000, and probably less than Rs 23,000, making it less expensive than its European rivals.
The Moto G82 5G boasts a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz in the European edition. Most smartphones over Rs 20,000 that have lately been launched in India have had a high refresh rate display, so the G82’s Indian variant is likely to include one as well. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which has been seen in a number of phones priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000. The Indian version’s base model is expected to have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, similar to the European model. A dedicated microSD card slot is also included, allowing for storage expansion up to 1TB.
The G82 is equipped with three cameras. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with a f1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). A 8MP sensor with an ultrawide lens and a 2MP sensor with a macro lens are also included. On the smartphone, you may use burst shooting, AR stickers, portrait mode, night vision, and other photography features.
On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. The ultrawide lens has an aperture of f/2.2, while the macro lens has an aperture of f/2.4.
Under the hood, the gadget is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W quick charging. Given that many devices come with 45W or more of fast charging, it would have been wonderful if the phone featured faster charging.
The Moto G82 also has a punch hole display, a 3.5mm jack, and is water and dust resistant to IP52 standards.
