The Moto G71 could be released in India very soon. The Lenovo-owned company has yet to confirm the launch date, but a new leak suggests the latest Moto G-series phone will arrive later this month. The Motorola handset, along with the Moto G200, Moto G51, Moto G41, and Moto G31 phones, made their global debut in November of last year. So far, only the Moto G51 and Moto G31 smartphones have been announced in India. The Snapdragon 695 SoC powers the Moto G71. The phone also features triple rear cameras, 128GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Yogesh Brar has taken to Twitter to suggest that the Moto G71 will be released in India soon. He claimed that the new smartphone would arrive in India by the second week of January, and that the company would tease the handset’s arrival in the country soon. However, the source did not specify a specific launch date.
Motorola India has been contacted for comment on the launch by Gadgets 360. When the company responds, this report will be updated.
Moto G71 price and features
The Moto G71, along with the Moto G200, Moto G51, Moto G41, and Moto G31, was released globally in the third week of November.
Moto G71 costs EUR 299.99 worldwide (roughly Rs. 25,200). The Indian version will most likely be priced similarly.
In comparison, the Moto G51 5G is priced at Rs. 14,999 in India for the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. The Moto G31 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant costs Rs. 12,999, while the Moto G31 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 14,999.
Android 11 is installed on the Moto G71. A 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 409ppi pixel density graces the handset. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in the Moto G71.
A 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens make up the Moto G71’s triple rear camera setup. The Moto G71 also has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Motorola phone has a 5,000mAh battery that charges quickly with Turbo Power 30. A USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5, and Wi-Fi ac are among the connectivity options.
