Maruti Swift Sport is being tested in Pune ahead of its launch in India

A Maruti Suzuki Swift Sport test mule has been spotted on Pune roads, fueling speculation that the car will be unveiled in India soon. According to RushLane, the vehicle had a ‘On Test by ARAI’ sticker on the rear windshield. Nearly a week after another test mule of the sporty hatchback was spotted mounted on the back of the truck’s trailer in Mumbai, the latest spy shots taken by automotive enthusiast Sidhant K surface. Interestingly, both prototypes had the same colour scheme.

While the car’s basic design language is similar to that of the standard Swift, the Sport model has a different grille and bumper, as well as a few other changes. The car’s front bumper has been redesigned to house new fog lamp enclosures with blacked-out bezels. The Swift Sport prototype is seen in spy shots with a blacked-out diffusor on the back bumper and two exhaust cans.
