In this segment too, especially sub-4 meter SUVs and compact SUVs have more sales. The best selling SUV in the last month of April has been a powerful SUV from the sub-4 meter SUV segment itself. However, every month mostly one or the other car from this segment becomes the top selling SUV. Tata Nexon was the top selling SUV in the month of April. The price of which starts from Rs. 7.80 lakhs which goes up to Rs. 14.35 lakhs.

Tata Nexon becomes the country’s top selling SUV

Maruti, Hyundai become everyone’s father Tata’s 7.80 lakh SUV, selling fiercely. Talking about the country’s top selling SUV Tata Nexon, in April 2023 the company sold 15,002 units of Nexon while in the same period last year (April 2022) only 13,471 units of Nexon were sold.

Whereas, in March 2023, 14,769 units of Tata Nexon were sold. That is, see it on a month-to-month basis or see it on an annual basis, in both cases, there has been an increase in the sales of Tata Nexon. With this, it became the best selling SUV in the country.

Hyundai Creta becomes second best selling SUV (Hyundai Creta)

Talking about the second best selling SUV, Maruti Brezza, which was the best selling SUV in the month of March (2023), has slipped two places to number three in the month of April, and has been the third best selling SUV.

Between these two, the Hyundai Creta took its place and became the second best selling SUV. In April 2023, Hyundai Creta sold 14,186 units. In April 2022, 12,651 units of this SUV were sold and in March 2023, the company sold 14,026 units.

Maruti Brezza third best selling SUV (Maruti Breeze)

Maruti, Hyundai become everyone’s father Tata’s 7.80 lakh SUV, selling fiercely. Maruti Brezza was the third best selling SUV with 11,836 units sold in April 2023. There has been a decline in the sales of this SUV on a month-on-month basis.

In the month of March (2023), 16,227 units of Maruti Brezza have been sold. However, there has been a marginal increase in sales on an annual basis, with 11,764 units of the SUV being sold in April 2022. The starting price of this SUV of the company is Rs 8.19 lakh, while the price of its top variant goes up to Rs 13.88 lakh.
