The vehicle we are talking about is Suzuki’s Ertiga. A total of 10494 units of Ertiga have been sold in October 2022, with this it is at number nine in the list. The Ertiga is Maruti’s best selling car in the MPV segment. It is the only MPV to make it to the list of top 10 cars. Earlier in September and August also it was the best selling MPV.

With this new powerful engine with hybrid technology

The Ertiga car comes with a 1.5-litre Dualjet petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. It can generate 103 PS power and 136.8 Nm torque. On CNG it generates 88 PS power and 121.5 Nm torque.

Will rock with great mileage

However, the mileage goes up on CNG. It can give a mileage of 26.11 kmpl on CNG while can offer mileage of up to 20.51 kmpl on petrol. It gets the option of 5-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The Maruti Ertiga offers features like 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support), connected car technology (telematics), paddle shifters, cruise control, auto AC and auto headlamps. In terms of safety, it gets dual airbags (standard), ABS with EBD, brake assist, rear parking sensors, two additional airbags (total 4) in top variants and hill hold control with ESP. This is a 7 seater car.

These affordable prices will be seen on the roads

The starting price of Ertiga is Rs. 8.41 Lakh. Its price goes up to Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model. Ertiga CNG prices range between Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 11.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in four trim levels – LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+. The CNG kit is available in only two variants – VXI and ZXI.
