Mahindra Scorpio 2020: Know Price, Features and Specifications

With a few updates, the Mahindra Scorpio has entered the BS6 era. The SUV is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with 140 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. Only a six-speed manual transmission is available with the engine. The BS6 Mahindra Scorpio features a grille with chrome inserts, projector headlamps, fog lamps, and 17-inch alloy wheels, all of which are carried over from the previous model. It has a dual-tone dashboard, a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with Bluetooth, USB, AUX, GPS navigation, a reverse parking camera, and automatic climate control on the inside. The S5, S7, S9, and S11 are the four variants, with prices starting at Rs 12.40 lakh ex-showroom.

The 2020 Mahindra Scorpio retains the same chrome-inserted grille, projector headlamps with static bending technology, fog lamps, and LED tail lamps as the BS4 model. It has a length of 4456mm, a width of 1820mm, a height of 1995mm, and a wheelbase of 2680mm.

The SUV’s interior features a dual-tone black and grey dashboard, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system, GPS, and a rear-view camera. It also has leather seat upholstery, a driver armrest, and audio and cruise control on the steering wheel.

Scorpio Engine by Mahindra

The BS6 Mahindra Scorpio now has only one engine option: a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine with 140hp and 320Nm of torque.

Braking and Safety on the Mahindra Scorpio

ABS, dual-airbags, seat belt reminders, and automatic door lock while driving are all standard safety features. Additional features include anti-theft warning, fog lamps, and speed alerts on higher variants.

Mileage of Mahindra Scorpio

The SUV’s fuel tank holds 60 litres. The BS6 Mahindra Scorpio’s rated fuel efficiency, however, has not been revealed.
