Anjali Arora has expressed her affections for Lock Upp co-contestant Munawar Faruqui once again, despite her mother’s suggestion to avoid the stand-up comedian. During the Judgement Day episode, a media trial occurred, during which a few reporters interrogated candidates. Siddharth Kannan, a radio personality, addressed Anjali and Munawar about their affections for one another.
“Did you have romantic feelings for each other?” Siddharth inquired of Munawar and Anjali. Munawar responded promptly, “No… never, because I am practical.” Anjali, on the other hand, stated, “Yes, I felt.” Even host Kangana Ranaut poked fun at Munawar, saying, “Munawar bas leta hai… deta nahi hai” (Munawar takes but never gives). “Did you repress that feeling?” Siddharth inquired more of Anjali. Which Anjali confirmed, adding, “I have a life outside.”
Recently, when Anjali’s mother visited Lock Upp as part of a family episode, she advised her daughter not to trust anyone in the jail because everyone is there to play the game. “Not even Munawar?” Anjali inquired, to which her mother replied, “No one. Never put your confidence in anyone.”
When Munawar arrived to meet her, Anjali’s mother informed him that he was doing well and that the two of them looked excellent as friends. Following his departure, she advised Anjali, “Use thoda doori bana ke rakh. Stay away from Munawar; all your fans are voting for him.” Anjali was taken aback but said nothing.
Additionally, Anjali’s mother informed her that films are being edited to make it appear as though she said ‘I Love You’ to Munawar on the show. Anjali stated that such a thing has never occurred. They also informed Munawar later. “Stay as good friends,” Anjali’s mother then advised. Simply be aware that if you go overboard, some inadvertent story may be visible outside.”
