List Of Top 5 Private Law Colleges In India According To NIRF Ranking 2021
On September 11, 2021, the Ministry of Education (formerly known as the Ministry of Human Resource Development) announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (hereinafter, “NIRF”) Ranking 2021. The same was e-released by Hon’ble Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. Every year, the NIRF law ranking is published to evaluate the performance of Government law schools as well as private law schools based on five primary criteria. These criteria are as follows:
i) Teaching Learning & Resource
ii) Research and Professional Practice
iii) Graduation Outcomes
iv) Outreach and Inclusivity
v) Peer Perception
The NIRF rankings are released every year in April; however, because of the pandemic induced by COVID-19, this year’s process was delayed. This article lists out the top 5 private law colleges according to the NIRF ranking 2021.

This college is located in Pune, Maharashtra and offers courses at three different levels, i.e., diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate. For admission to UG and PG level, it conducts entrance exams every year called Symbiosis All India Test (AIAT) and Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT).
