Leaked Mahindra Scorpio N Dimensions and Features

The Mahindra Scorpio N is larger and more spacious than the current-generation Scorpio.

On June 27, 2022, Mahindra will unveil the new Scorpio-N. Thanks to a partial leak of the SUV’s owner’s manual, we were able to get our hands on the SUV’s dimensions ahead of its debut. There are a few more details that have come to light.

  • Scorpio N is longer and wider than the current-gen Scorpio
  • Dual zone AC, Cruise control present on higher variants
  • Will get 4WD with terrain modes, including low range

Dimensions, Features, and Equipment Information for The Mahindra Scorpio-N

The Scorpio-N has a length of 4,662mm, a width of 1,917mm, and a height of 1,870mm, according to the leaked document, and a wheelbase of 2,750mm. This means the Scorpio N is 206mm longer, 100mm wider, and 125mm shorter than the current Scorpio, which will be renamed Scorpio Classic in the near future. The Scorpio-N has a slightly longer wheelbase as well, but it remains to be seen how much of this translates into actual cabin space. The Scorpio N will have a three-row cabin with the third row facing forward; the Scorpio Classic will have a side-facing third row.

Dual-zone climate control, two different instrument cluster set-ups (depending on the variant), front and rear cameras, auto start-stop, cruise control, type-C USB ports for the first and second rows, traction control, push-button start-stop on higher variants, and, most importantly, Mahindra’s new 4 XPLOR 4WD system with terrain modes and a low-range mode are all confirmed in the user manual.

The Scorpio N will be available with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. A 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission are available. Unofficial dealer bookings have begun, with Mahindra planning to open order books officially on June 27 in conjunction with the price announcement.
