Lawrence Bishnoi’s aide deployed a sharpshooter outside Salman Khan’s apartment

The individual who wrote the death threat to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father, film writer Salim Khan, was identified as Lawrence Bishnoi’s close associate Vikram Brar, according to police sources.

Times Now reported shortly after the announcement that an attempt had been made to kill the Bollywood celebrity and that a sharpshooter had been deployed outside the actor’s apartment.

Lawrence Bishnoi, a suspect in the murder of Sidhu Moosa Wala, reportedly dispatched a sharpshooter armed with a small-bore weapon in a modified hockey casing to assassinate Salman Khan.

According to the story, the gangster and his guys were watching the activities of the actor, and the sniper was aware that the actor cycles around the neighborhood without a bodyguard.

Reportedly, the assassination plot was hatched as Salman was preparing to leave his home for an event. Due to the increased police presence in the neighborhood, the gunman who was purportedly planted outside the actor’s home pulled out at the last minute out of fear of being apprehended.

Brar, who is apparently currently on board, is reportedly facing two dozen criminal prosecutions in multiple states.

It was earlier stated that the Mumbai Police feared the likely involvement of the Bishnoi gang and, as a precaution, increased security at the Khans’ Bandra West apartment, Galaxy Apartments.

According to reports, the Mumbai Police assumed that the possible assailants had performed a covert reconnaissance of the Khans’ movements and residence.

Bishnoi had previously threatened to murder Salman Khan after the actor was implicated in a 1998 blackbuck poaching case in Rajasthan.

Sunday morning at 7.30 a.m., an unidentified person gave Salim Khan an unsigned, handwritten threat letter on a bench where he typically rests after jogging along the Bandra Bandstand promenade.

The threat letter concluded with a few initials, including ‘L.B. ‘, which the police believed to stand for ‘Lawrence Bishnoi.
