Launch of The Huawei Freebuds 5i with Multi-Mode Free Switching and ANC: Specifics

With the charging case, Huawei claims that the Freebuds 5i will last up to 28 hours.

In China, Huawei has released the Freebuds 5i. The Huawei earbuds are said to have a battery life of up to 28 hours when used with the charging case. On their own, the earbuds are said to provide up to 7.5 hours of use on a single charge. The FreeBuds 5i earbuds support multi-mode free switching, which means they can connect to two devices at once. They also have dual hybrid noise cancellation and are water resistant to IPX 4 standards. The Huawei Freebuds 5i is available in three colors and is available in China.

Price of Huawei Freebuds 5i

In China, the Huawei Freebuds 5i costs CNY 499 (roughly Rs. 5,800). Ceramic White, Interstellar Black, and Island Blue are the three color options for the earbuds.

Specifications for The Huawei Freebuds 5i

The Huawei Freebuds 5i have silicone earbuds and are lightweight. The earbuds have a wide frequency response range and have received the Hi-Res certification for sound quality. The Freebuds are equipped with dual hybrid noise cancellation technology, which aids in noise cancellation. They also have ear canal adaptive noise cancellation, which can detect ear canal airtightness and reduce noise. Separately, you can choose your preferred active noise cancellation (ANC) mode. The Huawei Freebuds 5i have an active noise cancellation capability of up to 42dB when used together.

With a long press on either of the earbuds, you can turn off/on the noise cancellation and transparent mode. The volume of the earbuds can be adjusted by sliding up or down on the stem. Play/pause music and answer/end calls are controlled by double tapping the earbuds.

The Smart Life App’s audio connection center allows users to manage the devices connected to the earphones and switch between them.

Huawei’s earbuds have a battery capacity of 55mAh for the Freebuds and a minimum of 410mAh for the charging case. When used with the charging case, the Freebuds 5i claims a battery life of 28 hours with ANC turned off and 18.5 hours with ANC turned on. The earbuds have a battery life of up to 7.5 hours without ANC and six hours with ANC enabled on their own. The earphones will charge in the case in about 60 minutes, and the wired charging will take about 110 minutes. The charging case is 18% lighter than the previous generation, according to the company.
