Last month, Bajaj Auto saw a significant drop in domestic two-wheeler sales of 35 percent.
Bajaj Auto has announced that in February of this year, it sold a total of 2,79,337 two-wheelers. The company saw a 16 percent drop in sales compared to the same month a year ago, when it sold 3,32,563.
Bajaj’s overall domestic market sales were 96,523 units last month, with exports totaling 1,82,814 units. In the same month of 2021, the company sold 1,48,934 units domestically and 1,83,629 units internationally. Last month, the company saw a significant drop in domestic two-wheeler sales of 35 percent.
In terms of YTD FY’22 sales, the company sold a total of 35,80,532 units (domestic + exports), which is 9% more than the total units sold in the same month of FY’21. The company had previously only sold 32,75,760 units.
Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto has only recently begun to roll out a new paint scheme on its popular Pulsar 250 range. The new Blue paint scheme was recently spotted in dealerships, but the company has yet to issue an official statement. In addition, there is no information about the model on the official company website.
On the fairing, the latest blue option has a monochromatic finish with a few grey and white highlights. The bike comes with a matching engine cowl in blue, just like the other colours in the range. The price of the new colour options has yet to be announced by the company, but it is expected to be the same as the existing options – $140,915 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
