Sangakkara will be joined by Malinga.

Malinga will be reunited with his old teammate Kumar Sangakkara. Sangakkara is also the Rajasthan Royals’ Director of Cricket and Coach. Since his retirement, Malinga has worked with the Sri Lankan national team. He was then promoted to consultant. Malinga recently accompanied the Sri Lankan team on a tour of Australia.

Malinga has the most wickets in the IPL.

In 2008, Malinga joined the Mumbai team. He was injured at the time, however, and did not play the entire season. After that, Mumbai purchased him in 2009, and he remained with the team until 2019. Malinga took 170 wickets in 122 IPL matches during this time.

Bravo has the potential to break Lasith Malinga’s record.

Malinga’s record, on the other hand, could be broken this year. Following him, Dwayne Bravo of the Chennai Super Kings has 167 wickets in 151 matches and will pass Malinga as soon as he takes three wickets this season.
