Krunal Pandya sends Kieron Pollard off with a kiss in LSG vs MI

Krunal would go on to claim three wickets, including Pollard’s in the final over, as Lucknow cruised to a 36-run victory over a struggling Mumbai.

While Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard may be close off the field, the competitive nature of the Indian Premier League means that most friendships are put on hold during match days.

Krunal Pandya apparently missed the memo, as he removed Pollard in the final over of the Mumbai Indians vs Lucknow Super Giants match and then jumped on his back to kiss him on the head. That was intended to be a friendly send-off from his former teammate, but Pollard did not appear amused, and he walked away without reacting. Even India legend Sunil Gavaskar stated during the commentary that the gesture was inappropriate given that the game was still ongoing.
