Know the features and price of Yamaha’s new MT-15 V2 motorcycle, which made an impressive debut. The price of the newly released Yamaha MT-15 V2 motorcycle has increased by Rs 2,000. The motorcycle’s starting price for the Black color option is currently Rs 1,61,900. Previously, this trim went for Rs. 1,59,000. While the price of the Cyan and Ice Fluo color options has increased to Rs 1,62,900 from Rs 1,60,900 previously.

The model hasn’t undergone any other changes besides the announcement of the price increase. This bike still has the same 155cc single-cylinder engine. The maximum output of this liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine is 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm, and its maximum torque is 14.1 Nm at 7,500 rpm.

Additionally, it has Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system, which is patented. This engine comes with a 6-speed transmission. The MT-15, which is based on the R15, weighs only 139 kg and has the same patented Delta Box frame.

The MT-15 V2 sold 9,228 units in the first month following its launch in April of this year. Sales over the MT-15 V1 have increased by 62% year over year. Only 5,692 of the same model had been sold by the company in April 2021.
