Kawasaki KLX450R launched in India in 2022

The new Kawasaki KLX450R is expected to be delivered in the first month of 2022.
Like its predecessor, the new KLX450R arrives in India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit).

In India, Kawasaki has unveiled the new 2022 KLX450R dirt bike. The price of the new off-road motorcycle is Rs. 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike is 50,000 dollars more expensive than the model it replaces at this price.

The new bike is expected to be delivered in the first month of 2022. Like its predecessor, the new KLX450R arrives in India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit).

The Kawasaki KLX450R motorcycle has been given a new Lime Green colour option as well as a new set of decals for the yearly update. Minor updates to the powertrain have also been made, according to the company, to improve low-end torque. A new suspension system has also been added to the motorcycle.

The same 449cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine powers the new Kawasaki KLX450R. This powertrain now has better low-end torque and uses the same 5-speed transmission as before. This engine is housed within a light-weight perimeter frame.

Long travel upside-down forks in the front and a monoshock in the back handle the suspension duties. It has petal-type disc brakes on both ends for braking. The bike also comes with a Renthal aluminium handlebar and a small digital console.

Kawasaki, on the other hand, recently announced plans to introduce three new electric and hybrid motorcycles to the market by the end of 2022. This is a follow-up to Kawasaki’s announcement from October of this year. By 2035, the motorcycle manufacturer claims that the majority of its fleet will be electric or hybrid.
