Kamal Haasan’s film surpasses Beast’s lifetime mark, earning Rs 170 crore in India.

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, has sent the cash registers ringing. Fans adore Vikram, and the film is performing exceptionally well commercially. Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, has earned more than Beast, starring Vijay, in its first six days of release.

The film by Kamal Haasan has grossed Rs 170 crore in India and has surpassed Rs 200 crore worldwide. According to a tweet from industry expert Manobala Vijayabalan, the film made Rs 170.46 crore. His tweet said, “Day 1 worldwide box office earnings for #Vikram were $48,680,000. Day 2: 36.07 points, Day 3: 40.82 points, Day 4: 26.30 points, Day 5: 18.59 points; Total: 170.46 points”

Throughout its whole run, Beast earned Rs 153 crore at the box office.


Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram is a high-octane action thriller he wrote and directed. In addition to Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, key roles were played by Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Santhana Bharathi, and Vasanthi. Suriya featured in a cameo as the threatening Rolex. The post-credits scene hinted at the possibility of a Vikram sequel.
