In India, the Vivo T-Series will replace the Vivo Y-Series in the first quarter of 2022, according to a report

In October, Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x were released in China.

The Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x are expected to launch in India early next year. In October, both Vivo smartphones were released in China. In India, the two Vivo T-series smartphones are expected to replace the existing Vivo Y-series phones. The Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x have a 120Hz refresh rate display and support for 5G. The Snapdragon 778G SoC powers the Vivo T1, while the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC powers the Vivo T1x. Both have 4,000mAh batteries and support for 44W fast charging.

According to 91Mobiles, Vivo may soon replace its existing Y-series smartphones with the Vivo T-series. According to sources, the Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x will be released in the first quarter of 2021. However, the report does not state whether the two aforementioned smartphones will be released in India or whether Vivo will introduce a new T-series smartphone.

Vivo’s 5G-enabled smartphones could also be released under the Vivo T-series umbrella, according to rumours. This information should be taken with a grain of salt due to the lack of official confirmation.

Specifications for the Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x


The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo T1 was released in China in October and runs Android 11 with Origin OS 1.0 on top. It has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. The Vivo T1x, on the other hand, has a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) display with a 20.07:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The Snapdragon 778G SoC in the Vivo T1 is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage in the Vivo T1x.

Both the Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x have a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor at the centre. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and other connectivity options are available. Both smartphones have a 5,000mAh battery and support for 44W fast charging.
