New Delhi, India: With joint cooperation with Times Professional Learning, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will launch Post Graduate (PG) certificate programmes in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning (TPL). The programmes are designed to provide career advancement and skill upgradation for working professionals in accordance with industry and corporate world requirements, and are matched with the National Education Policy 2020 instructions to Higher Education Institutes.

The Post Graduate Certificate Program in Cybersecurity is an eight-month programme designed to provide career enhancement and skill upgradation in fast-paced job roles such as network security specialist, cyber security analyst, cybersecurity architects, cyber security manager, and C-suite positions such as Chief Information Security Officer. “Amid escalating worldwide worries about security breaches and fast digitisation across organisations and institutions during the epidemic,” the statement stated, “demand for cybersecurity domain specialists has risen in the last year.”
The nine-month Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning focuses on fundamental and advanced learning through topics such as Python programming, data analytics, neural networks, computer vision, and image recognition, among others. According to the press release, “it will assist candidates prepare for competitive and cutting-edge employment roles including AI and ML Engineer, Computer Vision Expert, Software R&D Engineer, Cloud Support Engineer, and others,” which require a high degree of technical expertise and training.
