Honda has unveiled the Trico Edition of the CBR250RR, a quarter-litre motorcycle with a capacity of 250 horsepower. This variant will be available for purchase on the Malaysian market.

This new paint scheme is based on the CBR1000RR-R SP superbike from Honda, which has inspired it. With the exception of the new paint scheme for 2022, nothing else has changed for the year. The company decided to discontinue the red paint scheme for the motorcycle in 2022, which prompted this new update to give the motorcycle a fresh look.

Even in terms of performance, the CBR250RR retains its previous configuration. It has the same 250cc engine, which produces 40bhp at 13,000 rpm and a peak torque of 25Nm at 11,000 rpm. It also has the same transmission. This motor is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission with assist and a slipper clutch for improved performance. Quickshifter is included as standard equipment.

Because of the high price of the Honda CBR250RR, it is unlikely that it will be available in India. In Malaysia, it is available for purchase for approximately Rs 4.7 lakh (ex-showoom). In addition, the Japanese charge a high price for their CKD premium models in India, resulting in a lacklustre sales performance.
