Could Be EVS With Removable Batteries

After this it can be said with certainty that the upcoming electric two-wheelers of the company can come under the Vida brand. This can also be said because, as per the understanding between Hero MotoCorp and Hero Electric, Hero MotoCorp cannot sell any electric vehicle under the name ‘Hero’. A few months back, Hero MotoCorp signed a deal with Taiwan-based brand Gogoro for battery swapping technology. Hence, future EVs from the company may come with removable batteries.

Will Compete With

Earlier in August, Pawan Munjal had given a glimpse of an upcoming Hero MotoCorp electric scooter which could be the first electric scooter from the brand. This model can challenge some of the premium electric scooters in India like Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube.

Now, going by the trademarks filed by the company, it looks like Hero MotoCorp is also developing an electric bike which could be launched months after the arrival of the first electric scooter from the brand. If this happens, then the upcoming Hero MotoCorp will compete with the Revolt RV400 in the electric bike segment.
