Yami Gautam, who will play Jyoti Deswal, a disciplined yet strict jailor, will also be seen in the OTT space with the Guru actor. According to the trailer, Yami and Abhishek will engage in a strong yet fierce duel (playing CM Gangram Choudhary). Nimrat will also play a pivotal role in Dasvi.

During an interview with ANI, Yami revealed that she took diction lessons from a teacher in order to master the nuances.
