Facelifted MG ZS EV Unveiled Ahead Of India Launch; See Photos

In comparison to the current MG ZS EV, the new model will have a larger battery, allowing for a longer range, possibly exceeding the 419 km currently claimed.

MG Motor India is preparing to launch a completely redesigned version of its ZS EV pure electric SUV in the near future. The upcoming vehicle has been photographed by the company. There hasn’t been an announcement about when it will be released, but we expect it to be this month or early March 2022. While the SUV has received some cosmetic updates, some of its features have benefited from the MG Astor, which was released last month.

The front fascia of the 2022 MG ZS EV has been significantly revised. In place of the previous model’s gleaming chrome grille, the updated model features a face with body-colored panels and new alloy wheels. Other cosmetic changes include sleek LED projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a revised front bumper, black side body cladding, and a revised rear bumper. The tailgate, on the other hand, appears to be the same as on the previous model.

MG hasn’t revealed any information on the new ZS EV’s electric drivetrain, although the current model is powered by a 44.5 kWh Hi-Tech battery pack and produces 141 PS and 353 Nm of torque. The electric SUV, according to MG, has a range of up to 419 kilometres when completely charged.
