A new OnePlus TV Y1S render has surfaced, revealing the design of the upcoming TV.
The OnePlus 10R is expected to debut in China and India in Q2 2022, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The phone is expected to arrive in global markets in March, following the company’s OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone, which was released in China. The smartphone is also expected to debut on Oppo’s upcoming Find X5 smartphone. Meanwhile, ahead of the TV’s launch in India, a new render of the OnePlus TV Y1S has surfaced.
According to Android Central, the OnePlus 10R will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, at least 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. According to the report, OnePlus’ next smartphone will be released in the second quarter of 2022. The OnePlus 10R will have a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. Like other OnePlus R-series smartphones like the OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9RT, the smartphone is expected to be limited to Asian markets.
According to the report, the OnePlus 10 will not have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC under the hood because it will be released in North America. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC has a similar core configuration to Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and supports Sub-6 5G bands, but not mmWave 5G like the Snapdragon counterpart. According to reports, the smartphone will make its debut in China and India at the end of Q2 2022.
Meanwhile, ahead of the OnePlus TV’s launch in India, a render of the device has surfaced online. According to MySmartPrice, tipster Ishan Agarwal spotted the OnePlus TV Y1S on the OnePlus Connect app, which is expected to launch in India soon. The TV has small bezels, with the OnePlus logo in the centre of the bottom bezel, according to the renders. The televisions are expected to be available in 32-inch and 43-inch display sizes, with prices starting at Rs. 25,000. The existence of the rumoured OnePlus TV Y1S, as well as its specifications and availability, has yet to be confirmed by OnePlus.
