Ex-chief selector on India’s ‘comeback man’ Dinesh Karthik

MSK Prasad thinks the team needs to figure out their best batting order for the World Cup.

Dinesh Karthik is back with Team India after a long break, and the attention is on him for the T20I series against South Africa. At 37, few expected him to make another national team comeback. The selection committee and team management were forced to bring Karthik back after his IPL 2022 performance.

Karthik has said he wants to help India win the ICC T20 World Cup later this year. His match-winning efforts for RCB in the IPL helped earn him a call-up.
