According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the PM’s security was compromised when his convoy was stranded for 15-20 minutes around 30 kilometres from his destination due to a road blockade.

It also demanded a detailed report from the Congress-led government in Punjab, as well as strict action. Charanjit Singh Channi, on the other hand, claimed that the state government was unaware of PM Modi’s route change. He downplayed the alleged’security breach,’ insisting that the Prime Minister was under ‘absolutely no threat.’
