Late singer Sidhu Moose Wala, late kabaddi player Sandeep Singh Sandhu, and late actor Deep Sidhu were all honoured by Diljit Dosanjh. He urged the Punjabi community to unite.

Diljit Dosanjh recently paid a touching homage to late singer-rapper Sidhu Moose Wala and also conveyed a message to those who are ‘seeking to split’ the Punjabi community. At his recent Vancouver concert, the actor-singer paid tribute to Sidhu, as well as late kabaddi player Sandeep Singh Sandhu and Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu. Diljit’s fans were moved by his gesture and expressed their gratitude on social media.

On his Twitter account, Diljit also posted a video of his tribute performance with the message “One Love.” In the background, a digital banner proclaiming ‘this show is dedicated to our brothers’ could be seen. Diljit sung about how individuals who crave attention strive to bring down others who achieve fame in his performance.

He also gave a speech in which he called for unity among Punjabis. “Bapu don’t take off your turban, we respect it a lot,” Diljit said of Sidhu’s father’s decision to remove his turban during his son’s funeral. The artist went on to say, “We should all join together as one Punjabi community and not point fingers at one other. Many people will attempt to split us.” The audience exploded in cheers as soon as he heard Sidhu’s name.
