Chennai: Chennai Super Kings repurchased Deepak Chahar, Dwayne Bravo, Ambati Rayudu, and Robin Uthappa in the IPL Mega Auction 2022, demonstrating their commitment to keeping their core group of players.
CSK and Rajasthan Royals went head-to-head in a bidding war to reclaim Chahar, with Chennai winning for Rs 14 crore, making him the auction’s second most expensive purchase. Since 2018, Chahar has been linked with CSK.
