Because of the improved air quality in Delhi, the CAQM (Commission for Air Quality Management) has decided to lift restrictions on construction and the entry of heavy trucks into the city.
Because of an improvement in air quality and a better weather forecast, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) lifted restrictions on construction and demolition activities in Delhi-NCR on Monday.
The Delhi-NCR authorities were given immediate permission by the central air quality panel on Friday to resume physical classes for students in grades 6 and above, as well as colleges and other educational institutions.
It also stated that physical education classes for students in grades 1 through 5 could begin on December 27.
“The CAQM allows the resumption of C&D activities in NCR and also the entry of trucks into Delhi with immediate effect,” the panel tweeted on Monday, citing improvements in air quality and meteorological forecasts.
