'Can't Say When 4 Cabinet Seats Will Be Filled': Basavaraj Bommai After Meeting Amit Shah

Basavaraj Bommai had inducted 29 ministers in his first cupboard enlargement on August 4.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai on Wednesday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and mentioned state points, together with political developments.

“I met Amit Shahji and had a cordial meeting with him. I had met him a month back regarding cabinet expansion. He was curious to know how the new government was functioning,” Mr Bommai informed reporters after the assembly.

The Chief Minister stated mentioned governance and several other developmental programmes being applied within the state.

“He (Shah) also advised me to discuss political issues with (BJP national president) J P Naddaji,” he added.

Before assembly Mr Shah, the Chief Minister stated he had sought time from Mr Nadda in the course of the present go to to debate state political points, however resulting from private points, he was requested to come back subsequent week.

On disgruntled legislators not getting cupboard berths, the Chief Minister stated that Anand Singh, who on Tuesday assumed the cost (of setting, ecology and tourism); whereas among the leaders had expressed displeasure.

“And some of the aspirants have come here (Delhi) and are lobbying but I cannot say now when four more vacant slots will be filled up,” he stated.

BJP chief Balachandra Jarkiholi stated he had come to Delhi to foyer for his brother and ex-minister Ramesh Jarkiholi.

Ex-ministers Mahesh Kumatalli and Shrimant Patil are different ministerial aspirants.

In the assembly with Mr Shah, the Chief Minister additional stated that the Union minister shared sure issues on taking Karnataka on the trail of improvement.
