The trailer for ‘Brahmastra,’ which we’ve all been waiting for, has finally arrived, and one viewing is simply not enough!
Ayan Mukerji, the director of the highly awaited film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy, released the first official teaser on Wednesday.
This one promises to live up to the expectations, with spectacular visual effects, over-the-top action, romance, and drama.
The film is the first of a trilogy about Shiva (Ranbir), a young guy on the verge of a life-changing love affair with a girl named Isha (Alia). Their world is flipped upside down, however, when Shiva discovers he has a secret connection to the Brahmastra, as well as a vast power within him that he doesn’t fully comprehend – the power of Fire.
The film will take viewers on a journey with Shiva as he is initiated into the world of Astras and, as a result, realizes his destiny as the universe’s divine hero.
“Water, wind, and fire are all elements that can be found in nature. There have been energies harnessed into Astras among us since ancient times “As the trailer introduces us to the different caretakers of the sacred forces, Bachchan explains in a voice-over.
“This is a story about the Brahmastra, the Lord of All Astras, and about one young man who must understand that the Brahmastra’s destiny depends on him – Shiva,” says the Bollywood megastar, who plays the wise Guru.
Ranbir’s persona Shiva soon discovers his true magical calling, and Mouni Roy’s character Junoon, Queen of the Dark Forces, is introduced in the clip. Junoon is gathering her army while Shiva strives to quell the fire within. “There is only one goal for us: Brahmastra,” she says.
Aside from the main actors, the film is expected to feature a slew of celebrity appearances, including Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Fans will know for sure on September 9 if the rumors are true or not.
