Fans lauded Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman and Robert Pattinson’s Batman as the best portrayals of their respective characters in a very long time.
The Batman, the most recent movie based on the Caped Crusader, features Pattinson, while Superman & Lois on The CW stars Hoechlin. Fans appear to truly want their own versions of Batman and Superman to cross paths, despite the fact that both projects take place in different universes. Even a cool artwork made by a fan depicts the first encounter between the two actors as their respective personas.
In a creative notion, Pattinson and Hoechlin are depicted side by side as Batman and Superman by an Instagram user going by the name @Spdrmnkyxxiii.
They actually look fairly good together even if they are both dressed in the same costumes from their respective productions. The artists even exercised their freedom to combine their symbols to produce the best logo ever. Check out the fan art down below!
You can tell that The Batman focuses more on Batman than Bruce Wayne when viewing it. Pattinson doesn’t really have as much opportunity to explore the character’s duality as earlier actors did, but it really benefits the movie.
Bruce Wayne should have potential to improve, according to Reeves, who prioritised Batman in his movie. The picture features more Batman and less Bruce Wayne, as the filmmaker previously explained to Total Film.
“I was aware that there have been several amazing examples of origin stories and stories where Bruce goes through hardship before becoming Batman, so I decided against doing either. However, I still wanted to make sure that Batman was in the spotlight, that his tale was the main one, and that he was still developing as a character “Reeves clarified.
“You could see him develop as a result, and we could see him step up to the plate. In doing so, I wanted to embrace the notion of turning this into a thriller a la “World’s Greatest Detective.” Given that Batman would be the one attempting to solve this mystery, this meant placing Batman rather than Bruce Wayne at the centre.”
The Batman, which was directed by Matt Reves, stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zo Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon of the GCPD, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, the district attorney of Gotham, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and HBO Max is now streaming the movie.
