Until now, you may have seen inventions such as temperature control shelters to keep vegetables from spoiling, as well as kitchen hacks! We have a plethora of creative solutions to any problem. Anand Mahindra’s attention has recently been drawn to one such innovation, and the business tycoon is praising it! Anand Mahindra is a regular on Twitter. His Twitter page is full of food-related posts, some educational, some ‘just for fun,’ and others pure inspiration. His most recent post depicts a man who invented a fruit-picking device.

We were able to see the creation of this tool as he shared the video on Twitter. A man in the video begins by cutting a plastic bottle into four equal parts from the bottom. After that, he drills tiny holes in the cuts and attaches strings to make it functional. Finally, he displays the final fruit-picking tool. “Not an earth-shattering invention,” Anand Mahindra said in a tweet after sharing the video. But I’m excited because it demonstrates a growing “tinkering” culture. Because many people experimented in their basement/garage workshops, America became a powerhouse of inventiveness.
