Alto 800 coming with new look, style and luxury features, fans said after seeing the look – ‘Dil Garden-Garden Ho Gaya’, Maruti Suzuki Alto is the best car manufacturer in the domestic market. The nameplate has been around for almost two decades now, and has helped the carmaker craft a success story after the discontinuation of the legendary 800. Now in 2023, the entry-level hatchback is all set to be launched in a new-gen avatar.

New pictures of the hatchback reveal that it is all set to launch as the company shoots for the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Alto (Alto New Model 2023) TV commercial. Well, by now you must be wondering what is going to change in the new-gen model. Let’s know about the new Maruti Suzuki Alto to be launched.

Maruti Alto will look even more attractive in the new avatar

In the new generation, Maruti Suzuki Alto will donate a set of new clothes. Simply put, a new design will be seen for the entry-level hatch. It will be similar to the newly launched Celerio, and thus it is safe to say that the Alto will look attractive in its new avatar. It is expected to come with a new set of rims, which will be bigger in size. Also, the design will include sharper headlamps on either side of the new grille. A new boot lid design can be seen around the rear along with round-off tail lamps.

These features will be used in the new Alto

Maruti Suzuki is expected to use a completely new dashboard layout on the upcoming new-gen Alto. It includes features of cars like WagonR and Celerio. This time around, the top-spec Alto will get dual front airbags, a touchscreen infotainment unit and a multi-function steering wheel. A dual-tone theme could also be used for the dashboard and upholstery.

This updated powerful engine will be available in the new model

Maruti Suzuki is updating its model line-up with its updated powertrain options. The new variant is likely to come with the option of the Alto’s 1.0L NA petrol, which will produce 66 bhp of peak power and 89 Nm of peak torque. The outgoing 800cc motor will continue to be offered. Gearbox options will include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT.

As per the rumors and leaked reports, the new Maruti Suzuki Alto will hit the showrooms by next month. The prices of the new-gen variants will be higher than the older model by a marginal margin.
