Alia Bhatt responds to Kangana Ranaut’s ‘reflection’ in her Gangubai Kathiawadi performance

Alia Bhatt, who is in Berlin for the premiere of her film Gangubai Kathiawadi, posted several photos to her Instagram account, including one of the Berlin film festival’s red carpet.

Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the Berlin Film Festival’s 72nd edition, where her film Gangubai Kathiawadi will premiere. On Tuesday, she was seen leaving with her sister Shaheen for Germany. The film festival started on February 10 and will end on February 20, 2022. Alia posted several photos to her Instagram account, including a glimpse of the film festival’s Red Carpet.

Alia posted photos of herself in a white gown on Instagram with the caption “Berlin, baby!” “Stunner,” said Anushka Sharma after Ananya Panday commented with hearts. “Meet me at the Berlinale Red Carpet with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 8pm on February 16,” she captioned a photo of the red carpet scenes on her Instagram storey.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on a chapter from noted author Hussain Zaidi’s book “Mafia Queens of Mumbai.” The film will have its world premiere at the Berlinale Special Gala.

Alia had previously announced the film’s participation in the Berlin Film Festival on Twitter. “So grateful to be a part of a wonderful team that is now celebrating its official selection to the #BerlinFilmFestival2022,” she had tweeted. “See you on February 18th, 2022.”

Alia plays Gangubai, one of the most powerful, loved, and respected madams from Mumbai’s red-light district Kamathipura during the 1960s, in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz, and Jim Sarbh, among others, also appear in the film. On February 25, it will be released in theatres.
