Pakistan defeated West Indies by 120 runs in the second one-day international of the series, completing a series victory against the visitors. Pakistan knocked West Indies out for 155 after posting 275/8 on the board, with to Mohammad Nawaz’s excellent figures of 4/19 in 10 overs, with Mohammad Wasim (3/34) and Shadab Khan (2/40) also contributing significantly.
Babar Azam (77) shone once more with the bat, scoring his seventh fifty-plus total in international cricket across all three formats. Imam-ul-Haq came in second with a score of 72. Shadab (22), Khushdil Shah (22), Mohammad Wasim (17), and Shaheen Afridi (15) all played important roles in the lower order.

Shadab Khan was recognized by the fan who ran the lengths to reach the crease. The Pakistan cricketer opened his arms for an embrace in a sweet gesture. The audience at Multan Cricket Stadium erupted in applause as they saw the two embrace.
Shamarh Brooks top-scored for the West Indies with 42 runs, while Kyle Myers contributed 33 against the run-rate, before Nawaz raced through the top-order to give Pakistan a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
“At halftime, we were confident that we could defend this,” Babar remarked. “Nawaz took wickets when it mattered most. After the first ten overs, we were under pressure, but we were pleased with how we fought back.”
Meanwhile, Windies captain Nicholas Pooran acknowledged soft dismissals throughout their innings and lauded Mohammad Nawaz’s outstanding bowling effort.
“It’s been a difficult day for us, “Pooran expressed his disappointment after yet another failure with the bat. “Credit must go to Nawaz, who bowled superbly.” It was a difficult wicket (and) there were a few soft dismissals, but it wasn’t our day.”
