A Clear Image of The 2023 Mini Cooper S Electric Has Surfaced

Internationally, the Mini Cooper S will debut in 2022 as a model for 2023.
The car has no visible tailpipe and only a small amount of air intake on the front end, implying that it will be electric or hybrid.

The exterior and styling of the next-generation Mini Cooper S have been leaked online. International media reports that the model was seen at a facility in China. The spotted model can be seen alongside a number of camouflaged Minis.

Redesigned taillights and a rimless centre screen are among the exterior changes seen in the leaked images. The car has no visible tailpipe and only a small amount of air intake on the front end, implying that it will be an electric or hybrid vehicle, as indicated by the cap on the right side of the body.

The “S” badging on the spotted car denotes a higher-spec model. Redesigned taillights, which now have a new shape and interior pattern when compared to the lights found on the existing model, are also one of the most noticeable changes on the outside of the new model. A horizontal black stripe with “Cooper S” badging runs across the tailgate, connecting the tail lamps.

On the inside, the dashboard appears to be quite different from that of current Minis, which have a circular centre display. It has a floating circular centre screen and a flat, bare dash (minus the driver display). The majority of the buttons, knobs, and switches on the dash appear to have been tossed out the window in favour of a cleaner design. However, some physical controls are visible on the steering wheel, as well as a few (stereotypically-Mini) switches beneath the screen. The new Mini’s frameless circular screen will be a touchscreen, of course.
