2022 Honda CB300R Launched in India

Honda’s premium Big Wing retail outlets across India are taking reservations for the motorcycle.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) announced the launch of the Honda CB300R motorcycle in India on Wednesday. The new CB300R is priced at 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and comes in two colour options: Matte Steel Black and Pearl Spartan Red.

The motorcycle is currently available for booking through the two-wheeler manufacturer’s BigWing premium retail chain. The Honda CB300R arrives in India in 2022, bolstering the Japanese two-wheeler brand’s position in the mid-size motorcycle segment.

In December 2021, the new sports cafe racer motorcycle was unveiled at India Bike Week.

It has a design that combines retro styling with contemporary elements. LED units and integrated LED daytime running lights are included in the circular headlamp. It has sleek LED daytime running lights on either side.

Other design elements that add premium visual appeal to the motorcycle include a fully digital display, chunky and muscular fuel tank, split seats, a sleek LED taillight, contrasting exhaust, black alloy wheels, and engine block protector.

The compact digital instrument display provides a wealth of data. It has a gear position indicator and a side stand indicator, as well as an engine inhibitor.

The 2022 Honda CB300R features 296 mm front hub-less floating disc brakes and 220 mm rear disc brakes, as well as dual-channel ABS. Golden upside-down front forks are part of the suspension system.

A 286cc DOHC four-valve liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with PGM-FI technology powers the Honda CB300R in 2022. An Assist & Slipper clutch is installed on the motorcycle.

HMSI’s Managing Director, President, and CEO, Atsushi Ogata, said the Honda CB300R has maintained high engineering standards since its introduction.

The new CB300R comes with Assist & Slipper clutch, which reduces fatigue, and Golden Upside Down Forks, which offer riding precision and enhanced sporty appeal, according to Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director – Sales and Marketing, HMSI.
