The Noida Police on Saturday stated it has arrested two males for duping over Rs 2 crore from individuals on the pretext of giving them profitable month-to-month returns on funding of their automobile taxi service firm.
The modus operandi of the gang has been discovered much like the notorious ”Bike Bot” rip-off wherein over two lakh individuals had been duped of round Rs 3,500 crore, the officers stated.
The matter got here to mild after a criticism of fraud on the Phase 3 police station in Noida, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida) Ankur Aggarwal stated.

“However, when investors did not get the assured returns, the fraud came to light and it was found that the contract of taxi service they had shown to investors was also forged,” he stated.
The case was pursued and two individuals, recognized as Vipin Tomar and Deepak Choudhary, have been arrested, whereas searches are on for his or her different companions, the police officer stated.
According to officers, the girl on whose criticism the FIR was lodged has been duped of Rs 2.06 crore by the corporate, which had assured traders of a month-to-month return of Rs 25,000 on funding of Rs 3 lakh.
A Tata Harrier automobile has been impounded from their possession and an I-phone bought from the corporate’s accounts has been seized, the police stated.
Detailed investigation is underway to determine the belongings purchased by the gang from traders’ cash and they’d even be seized, the police added.
