1534 new cases of corona in which three patients died, the number of active cases in Delhi crossed 5,000

For the past week, the number of Kovid patients has been steadily increasing

On Thursday, 1,323 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported, with two patients dying and a 6.69 percent infection rate. This is the second day in a row that the number of daily new cases of Kovid-19 in Delhi has exceeded 1300, and the third day in a row that more than 1000 new cases have been reported.

According to the latest bulletin from the Health Department, the total number of people infected has risen to 19,17,228 after the new cases were reported on Thursday. At the same time, two patients died, bringing the total number of people who died to 26,225. According to the bulletin, the number of Kovid-19 patients undergoing treatment has risen to 3,948. There are now a total of 209 Kovid-19 containment zones. A total of 182 Kovid-19 patients have been admitted to hospitals.

The government has accelerated genome sequencing

In response to an increase in corona virus cases, the Delhi government has accelerated the sequencing of samples’ genomes in order to detect any new Kovid variants. This information was released by officials on Saturday. According to information provided by the city’s health department, 1,797 new cases of Kovid were reported in Delhi on Friday, the highest number in nearly four months. On Friday, one more person died from an infection, bringing the infection rate to 8.8%.
